I found a device that makes infinite scrolling impossible

This is a game changer

Yo!

Welcome back to 2+2 Saturday. (2 ideas/products to optimize your life + 2 curated pieces of content from this past week.)

đź’ˇ Idea of the week

Inversion thinking is a mental model that has helped me a lot in making decisions and reverse engineering my goals. Rather than thinking “how do I succeed at <task>”, ask yourself “what would guarantee a failure in <task>?” Then all you need to do is to avoid doing those things.

For example, start with this: What would guarantee a bad day for you today?

⚡ Product of the week

E-Ink Phone. I recently got this e-ink reader that is in the form factor of a phone. It’s soo nice to read books on this and I also have a few other productivity apps on there. Unlike a normal display, e-ink displays look just like paper and have no reflections. (Looks super nice in the sun.)

I used to use a Kindle for reading but this is 100x better because it actually runs Android underneath. Which means that you can use this as your only phone and it will make infinite scrolling literally impossible. Will probably be making a video about this soon!

This might be my new favorite thing

đź“– Book I’m Reading:

The Comfort Crisis by Michael Easter. The book talks about how humans aren’t meant to live in “comfortable conditions” and how many modern innovations are making us weaker. The author goes on a journey to put himself in uncomfortable situations and uncover tangible benefits from a health, productivity, and happiness perspective.

🍿 Podcast I’m Listening To:

This was an interesting discussion between Tim Ferriss and this relatively unknown highly successful investor. Would recommend if you are interested in investing, new mental models, and beating blackjack.

Hope you have a good weekend! Let’s get it this week 🤝

(P.S. my life tracker e-book is still on sale until end of the month)
